Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X is a 2001 role-playing video game developed by Square for the PlayStation 2, the tenth mainline entry in the Final Fantasy series.

Set in the fictional world of Spira, it follows summoner Yuna and her guardian Tidus on a pilgrimage to defeat a destructive entity called Sin.

The game introduced voice acting to the series and replaced the traditional world map with linear environments.

Its turn-based combat system and emotional storyline—particularly its ending—made it one of the most acclaimed games of its era: I still cry at the ending of Final Fantasy X.
