Edison bulbs

Retro exposed filaments

Edison bulbs are incandescent light bulbs designed to evoke the look of early electric lighting—exposed filaments, amber glass, and decorative shapes.

Named for Thomas Edison, they're used for nostalgic or industrial aesthetics in restaurants, bars, and homes: The café had Edison bulbs hanging from the ceiling.

Also called vintage bulbs or filament bulbs.
