Chi-Chi's

Defunct Mexican restaurant

Chi-Chi's is a chain of Mexican-style restaurants that became popular in the United States during the 1980s and 1990s, known for casual dining and complimentary tortilla chips with salsa.

The chain largely disappeared from the U.S. after a hepatitis outbreak in 2003, though it continues to operate in some European markets.

The name also appears on a line of jarred salsas still sold in American grocery stores.
