Chevy Nova
Classic American compact
The Chevy Nova was a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, then briefly revived in the 1980s.
It became an icon of American muscle car culture, particularly the late 1960s and early 1970s models favored for drag racing and restoration projects: His dad's been restoring a '72 Nova in the garage for years.
The name persists in car enthusiast circles as shorthand for affordable American performance.
