Black Watch
Highland military unit
The Black Watch is a Scottish infantry regiment of the British Army, distinguished by its dark tartan pattern of blue, green, and black.
The name refers both to the military unit, formed in the 18th century, and to the distinctive tartan itself: a Black Watch kilt, Black Watch plaid.
