Ben Stein
Ben Stein is an American actor, writer, and commentator known for his distinctive monotone voice.
He gained widespread recognition for his role as the droning economics teacher in *Ferris Bueller's Day Off* (1986), where his deadpan delivery of "Bueller?
Bueller?" became iconic.
Before entertainment, Stein worked as a speechwriter for Presidents Nixon and Ford, and he later hosted the game show *Win Ben Stein's Money*.
His flat affect has made his name shorthand for intentionally boring delivery.
