B minor
Melancholy musical tonality
B minor is a musical key with B as its tonal center, using a scale with two sharps (F♯ and C♯).
It has a reputation for melancholy and introspection—Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony and many Chopin nocturnes are in B minor.
On guitar, B minor is often played as a barre chord, making it a hurdle for beginners.
