Article I
Constitution's first section
Article I is the first section of the United States Constitution, establishing the legislative branch of government.
It creates Congress, divides it into Senate and House of Representatives, and enumerates its powers—including taxation, commerce regulation, and declaring war.
Article I grants Congress the power to coin money.
