AIPAC

Pro-Israel political group

AIPAC is the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a lobbying organization that advocates for pro-Israel policies in the United States Congress.

Founded in 1951, it is one of the most influential foreign-policy lobbying groups in Washington: AIPAC's annual conference draws thousands of attendees and major political figures.

Critics accuse it of stifling debate on Israeli policy; supporters see it as legitimate advocacy for a key ally.
