401k matching
Company doubles savings
401k matching is an employer's contribution to an employee's retirement account, typically calculated as a percentage of what the employee contributes.
A common arrangement matches fifty cents or a dollar for every dollar the employee puts in, up to a limit: They match up to six percent of your salary.
Leaving matching funds on the table—by not contributing enough to get the full match—is often called leaving free money behind.
