weekend schools
Non-weekday education sessions
Weekend schools are educational programs that meet on Saturdays or Sundays rather than during the traditional weekday schedule.
They often serve specific communities—Chinese weekend schools teach language and culture to children of immigrants, while Hebrew schools prepare Jewish children for religious milestones.
Some weekend schools offer academic tutoring or test preparation for students who attend regular schools during the week.
