web font
Streamed text style
A web font is a typeface designed or licensed specifically for use on websites, loaded from a server rather than relying on fonts installed on the user's device.
Before web fonts became common, designers were limited to a handful of "web-safe" fonts like Arial and Times New Roman that could be expected on most computers.
Services like Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts now provide libraries of web fonts that can be embedded in any site: The designer chose a custom web font for the headings.
