walk-over
Uncontested victory match
A walk-over is an easy victory, one achieved with little or no opposition—as if you could simply walk over the competition: The semifinal was a walk-over; the real test comes tomorrow.
In sports, it specifically refers to a win by default when an opponent fails to appear or withdraws.
Also spelled walkover.
