voice typing
Talk to type
Voice typing is using speech recognition to input text instead of a keyboard.
You speak aloud and software converts your words to written text in real time: I used voice typing to draft the email while driving.
Most smartphones and computers now include built-in voice typing.
Also called speech-to-text or dictation.
