viewing parties
Group screening events
A viewing party is a social gathering organized around watching something together—a TV series finale, a presidential debate, a sports championship, an awards show.
The appeal lies in shared reactions: gasping, cheering, or groaning as a group.
We're hosting a viewing party for the season premiere.
The term emerged with appointment television but now applies equally to streaming events.
