video therapy
Remote mental healthcare
Video therapy is mental health treatment conducted through video calls rather than in-person sessions.
A therapist and client connect via screen, allowing therapy to continue across distances or when meeting face-to-face isn't practical: I switched to video therapy when I moved out of state.
The format became widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic.
