unrankable

Defies hierarchical placement

Something unrankable resists being placed in order relative to other things.

The term often applies to items too different to compare meaningfully: How do you rank the greatest athletes when their sports are so different? Some are simply unrankable.

It can also describe things so exceptional—or so poor—that they fall outside any scale: Her talent is unrankable; she's in a category of her own.
