uncommittable

Impossible to promise

Uncommittable describes something that cannot be committed.

In version control systems like Git, uncommittable code fails to meet requirements for being saved to a repository—perhaps it won't compile or breaks existing tests: These changes are uncommittable until you fix the syntax errors.

Outside computing, uncommittable may describe a person who resists commitment in relationships, or an act impossible to carry out: an uncommittable crime.
