uncollectable
Beyond debt recovery
Something uncollectable cannot be collected or recovered.
The word appears most often in financial contexts: an uncollectable debt is one the creditor has given up trying to recover, and uncollectable accounts are written off as losses.
Less commonly, it describes items that lack appeal to collectors: The damaged coins were uncollectable.
