unclerical
Lacking religious formality
Unclerical describes what is not characteristic of clergy or religious officials.
It may refer to behavior, dress, or attitudes that seem unsuited to someone in holy orders: His loud cursing was distinctly unclerical.
The word can also mean simply not belonging to the clergy: unclerical duties assigned to lay members.
