Uncentered describes something not positioned in the middle, whether literally or figuratively.
A picture hangs uncentered on a wall.
More often the word applies to mental or emotional states—feeling uncentered means feeling off-balance, unsettled, or not grounded: I've been feeling uncentered since the move.
The opposite of centered in its spiritual or psychological sense.
