umpteen
Vaguely huge number
Umpteen is an indefinitely large number, used when the actual count doesn't matter or when expressing exasperation at repetition: I've told you umpteen times.
The word suggests "too many to count" or "more than I care to count." The derivative umpteenth indicates an unspecified position in a long series: For the umpteenth time, close the door.
