turkey egg
Poultry farm ovum
A turkey egg is the egg of a turkey, larger than a chicken egg with a speckled shell, though rarely seen in stores since turkeys are raised primarily for meat.
The term also appears in Southern American dialect for a naive or gullible person: Don't be such a turkey egg.
