truth teller
One who's candid
A truth teller is someone who speaks honestly, especially when honesty is difficult or unwelcome.
The term often carries heroic connotations—the person who reveals uncomfortable realities others ignore or suppress: She was the only truth teller in an administration full of yes-men.
Sometimes used self-servingly by those who confuse rudeness with honesty.
