transpires

Eventually becomes known

Transpire literally means to pass through in vapor form, as when moisture transpires through plant leaves.

From this comes the sense of becoming known or coming to light: It transpired that she had been lying the whole time.

The most common use today, though sometimes criticized by traditionalists, is simply to happen or occur: Let me know what transpires at the meeting.

This shift from "become known" to "happen" is now standard in everyday speech.
