tooler
Craftsperson with implements
A tooler is someone who tools—works with tools, especially in leathercraft or metalworking to create decorative patterns.
In British slang, tooler can mean someone who drives or rides along casually: We spent the afternoon tooling around the countryside.
The word sees occasional use for a person who tools up (arms themselves) or, in computing contexts, someone who builds development tools.
