togged
Wearing one's clothes
Togged means dressed or clothed, typically in a particular style or for a specific purpose.
It almost always appears with an adverb or prepositional phrase: togged out in their Sunday best, togged up for the occasion.
The word derives from tog, an informal British term for a garment.
While somewhat old-fashioned, togged survives in descriptions of people dressed up or kitted out for special events or activities.
