time-blind
Hours slip unnoticed
Time-blind describes a diminished ability to sense the passage of time or estimate how long tasks will take.
The term emerged from discussions of ADHD and executive dysfunction, where people genuinely struggle to feel time moving: I'm completely time-blind—I'll start a project thinking it'll take twenty minutes and look up three hours later.
Unlike mere poor planning, time-blindness suggests a neurological difference in time perception.
