Numbered sliding game
A tile puzzle is a sliding puzzle consisting of numbered or pictured squares arranged in a frame with one empty space, allowing pieces to be shifted into new positions.
The classic version is the fifteen puzzle, a 4×4 grid with tiles numbered 1–15 that must be arranged in order: She solved the tile puzzle in under a minute.
The term also applies to any puzzle involving the arrangement of flat pieces to form a pattern or image.
