talk the talk
Speak the jargon
To talk the talk is to speak convincingly about something, especially expertise or commitment you may not actually possess.
The phrase usually appears with its counterpart: She can talk the talk, but can she walk the walk?
Someone who talks the talk uses the right vocabulary and makes the right claims, but talking is easier than doing.
