superlative forms
Most and best
Superlative forms are the grammatical constructions used to express the highest degree of a quality among three or more things being compared.
In English, superlatives typically add -est to short adjectives fastest, tallest or use "most" before longer ones most beautiful, most interesting.
Some common words have irregular superlatives: good becomes best, bad becomes worst.
The term also applies to adverbs most quickly and extends to any expression of an extreme: That was the worst movie I've ever seen.
