striped candy
Banded sugary treat
Striped candy is candy decorated with parallel bands of contrasting colors, typically wrapped around a cylindrical shape.
Candy canes and peppermint sticks are the classic examples, with their red-and-white spirals: The jar of striped candy sat on the counter.
The stripes are usually created by twisting or pulling different colored sugar mixtures together.
