straight-shooters
Frank, candid types
Straight-shooters are people who speak honestly and directly, without evasion or hidden agendas.
The term evokes the literal sense of someone who aims true—their words hit the mark without deception.
I appreciate working with straight-shooters who tell me exactly what they think.
The singular straight-shooter is more common.
