statical
Pertaining to equilibrium
Statical is an older or more technical variant of static, describing something at rest or in equilibrium rather than in motion.
The word appears mainly in physics and engineering contexts: statical equilibrium, statical analysis of forces.
In modern usage, static has largely replaced it except in specialized literature.
