stars aligned

Stars aligned describes a moment when multiple circumstances come together favorably, as if cosmic forces conspired to make something happen.

The phrase draws on astrology, where planetary positions supposedly influence events.

It usually explains fortunate timing or unlikely success: The stars aligned and we got the last two tickets.

Often used for outcomes that required several independent things to go right simultaneously.
