snow-job
Persuasion through exaggeration
A snow-job is a sustained effort to deceive or persuade through flattery, exaggeration, or overwhelming talk—burying someone under so much verbal snow they can't see clearly: The salesman gave us the full snow-job about the warranty.
The verb snow someone means the same: Don't try to snow me with technical jargon.
