slam dunkers
Above-the-rim finishers
Slam dunkers are basketball players who perform slam dunks—forcefully driving the ball downward through the hoop.
The term extends to anyone who excels decisively at something: The new hires were slam dunkers from day one.
A slam dunker delivers results emphatically, without ambiguity or near-misses.
