sinkable

Able to submerge

Sinkable describes something capable of being sunk, typically a vessel or floating object.

The word gained prominence through its famous negation: the Titanic was declared "unsinkable" before its maiden voyage proved otherwise.

Beyond ships, sinkable applies to anything that can be submerged or brought down, whether literally a sinkable raft or figuratively a sinkable political campaign.
