silly faces
Playful facial contortions
Silly faces are exaggerated facial expressions made for amusement—crossed eyes, puffed cheeks, stuck-out tongues, scrunched noses.
Children make them constantly; adults make them to entertain children or in casual photos.
The kids spent the whole car ride making silly faces at each other.
To pull a silly face is the British phrasing.
