sideloaded
Bypassed app store
Sideloaded describes software installed on a device outside official channels—bypassing app stores or manufacturer approval.
Someone might sideload an app unavailable in their region, or load pirated software onto a phone: I sideloaded the APK since it wasn't in the Play Store.
The term implies going around gatekeepers, whether for legitimate customization or to circumvent restrictions.
