Foldable military hat
A side cap is a military hat with a lengthwise crease that allows it to fold flat, worn tilted to one side of the head.
Also called a garrison cap or overseas cap in U.S. military contexts, or a wedge cap in British usage: He tucked his side cap under his epaulette.
