shove it

Take it elsewhere

Shove it is a rude dismissal telling someone to take their offer, opinion, or demand and go away—the unspoken completion being "up your ass." It rejects something with contempt: I told them they could shove it.

Often intensified to shove it up your ass or softened to stuff it.

The phrase take this job and shove it became iconic through a 1977 country song expressing workplace frustration.
