Shitrag is a vulgar insult for a person considered worthless or contemptible.
It also refers dismissively to a low-quality publication—a trashy newspaper or magazine: That shitrag isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
The literal sense, a rag used for wiping feces, is less common than the figurative uses.
