satirical skit
Comedic political lampoon
A satirical skit is a short comedic performance that uses irony, exaggeration, or mockery to criticize or comment on social issues, politics, or human behavior.
The format is common on late-night television and sketch comedy shows: Saturday Night Live's satirical skit lampooned the presidential debate.
Unlike straightforward parody, satirical skits aim to make a point while entertaining.
