reunion specials
Cast gathering broadcasts
Reunion specials are television episodes that bring back the cast of a concluded series, often years after the original run ended.
They typically revisit characters' lives, offer closure, or capitalize on nostalgia: The Friends reunion special drew millions of viewers.
The format ranges from scripted narratives continuing the story to unscripted specials where cast members reminisce about the show's impact.
