Coiled once more
Retwisted means twisted again, returning something to a twisted state after it has loosened or been undone.
The term appears most often in hairstyling, particularly for locs and natural hair that require periodic maintenance: I need to get my locs retwisted.
It also applies to rope, wire, or anything that has come untwisted and needs securing again.
