replan

Revise the approach

To replan is to plan again, typically after circumstances have changed or an original plan has failed.

The word appears most often in project management and logistics, where schedules and resources must be adjusted: We had to replan the entire project after the funding fell through.

The software automatically replans the route when you miss a turn.
