relaxed hand
Palm at ease
A relaxed hand is one held loosely, without tension or grip—fingers slightly curled, muscles soft.
The term appears in contexts from massage therapy to piano technique to martial arts, where a relaxed hand enables fluid movement or receptive touch.
In card games, to play with a relaxed hand suggests ease rather than anxious clutching of one's cards.
