regardful

Showing careful notice

Regardful means showing attention, consideration, or care toward something or someone.

It often appears with "of" to indicate what receives the attention: She was always regardful of her grandmother's feelings.

The word is somewhat formal and old-fashioned, more common in written than spoken English.

Its opposite, disregardful, is rarer still; heedless or careless serve better as antonyms in most contexts.
