rear speakers
Behind-seat sound sources
Rear speakers are audio speakers positioned behind the listener, typically in a car or home theater system.
They handle surround sound effects and ambient audio, creating a sense of spatial depth: The rear speakers really make you feel like you're in the middle of the action.
In car audio, they're mounted in the back doors or rear deck.
